Boulder County Open
Space Partnership
Crocs joined Boulder County Open Space’s Partnership Program in 2017. Of the three tiers of partnership, we are an Alpine Partner, which means that we are one of the volunteering groups that performs construction and maintenance work on trails in Colorado
at least once per year.
On August 31, 2017, and May 17, 2018, volunteers from Crocs gathered at Heil Valley Ranch, located just a few miles from Crocs Headquarters, to assist in cutting new trails throughout the property. Over the two days, they dug 450 feet of
mixed-use trails, which are used for walking, hiking, cycling and horseback riding. The ranch is over 6,000 acres in size, has over 16 miles of trail, and garners over 90,000 visits per year.
But we’re not done yet! More volunteers will be returning to the project on September 6 and 19.
